Our Dutch Bulb Farms are MPS Certified
We Supply Neonicotinoid Free Flower Bulbs
A.D.R. Bulbs is committed to supplying environmentally conscious, neonicotinoid free flower bulbs.
Our Dutch growing operation (Ruigrok Flower Bulbs) has undergone a rigorous MPS-ABC certification process to gain an A rating from the MPS Group (More Profit Sustainability).
All bulbs grown at our own nursery are now certified as neonicotinoid free. Additionally, many of our partner growers in the Netherlands have also undergone this certification process.
In the near future, we will be identifying each neonicotinoid free variety on our website with a special logo.
Recertification is done monthly, and is supervised by Carlo Ruigrok (one of our partners). Data is compiled and submitted on our usage of crop protection products, fertilizer and energy.
In 2018, 2,600 solar panels were installed on the roofs of Dutch warehouses which produce approximately 7.5 mega watts of electricity. The growing operations is now self sufficient for their energy needs.
