I have worked with A.D.R. Bulbs for almost 5 years now, and my company has sourced bulbs with them for longer than that. Communication is great - from ordering, to deliveries, to follow-ups on final product. I love the quality of the product as well as the service. We plant nearly 100,000 bulbs and A.D.R. keeps the whole process easy for us!

Growing and Maintenance Tips for Convallaria Majalis 'Lily of the Valley' (Ships in Spring)

Planting: Plant rhizomes (pips) in early to mid-spring after the danger of frost has passed. Soak them in water for a few hours beforehand to rehydrate. Set each pip about ½ inch deep with the pointed bud facing up, spacing them 6 inches apart.
Location: Choose a cool, shaded to partially shaded site—ideal under deciduous trees or along north-facing walls.
Soil: Prefers organically rich, well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–7.0). Amend with compost if needed.
Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and keep soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells.
Temperature: Hardy in USDA zones 3–8. Performs best in cool, temperate climates with mild summers.
Fertilization: Apply compost or a balanced fertilizer in early spring to support healthy foliage and flowering.
Pruning: Remove spent flower stalks and yellowing leaves to tidy the plant. Cut back foliage in late fall if desired.
Propagation: Spreads by underground rhizomes. Divide clumps every 3 to 5 years in spring or fall to control spread and rejuvenate growth.
Pest & Disease: Generally pest-free. Avoid overly wet conditions to prevent root rot.
