Through the years I've tried just about everyone for bulbs but A.D.R. is tops. It's a family run business and the service levels and expertise are as good as the product they sell. My clients rave about the results we get with A.D.R. and that makes me happy.

Anemone ‘The Admiral’ is a distinguished St. Brigid‑type variety noted for its fully double, richly layered blooms in deep, velvety blue. The ruffled petals create a full, textured, almost pom‑pom form, giving each flower a bold presence and a regal, saturated color that stands out beautifully in garden plantings and cut‑flower designs. Grown from size 8+ corms, plants typically reach 10–14 inches tall and produce substantial 2–3 inch blooms with excellent volume and structure.
In zones 7–10, ‘The Admiral’ can be planted in fall for late‑winter to early‑spring flowering. In cooler climates, it performs best when started indoors or planted in spring for summer blooms. It thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well‑drained, humus‑rich soil. Pre‑soaking the corms before planting encourages strong root development and ensures a lush, reliable display.
