Anemone Coronaria Double 'St. Brigid Mix'

Windflower

Anemone St. Brigid Mix showcases fully double, ruffled blooms in a lively blend of jewel‑tone colors, including rich reds, violets, blues, pinks, and crisp whites. The layered petals create a soft, almost pom‑pom effect, giving the flowers a fuller, more textured presence than standard De Caen types. Grown from size 8+ corms, plants typically reach 10–14 inches tall and produce generous 2–3 inch blooms that bring exceptional volume and color to borders, containers, and cut‑flower work.

In zones 7–10, St. Brigid types can be planted in fall for late‑winter to early‑spring flowering. In cooler climates, they perform best when started indoors or planted in spring for summer blooms. They thrive in full sun to part shade and prefer well‑drained, humus‑rich soil. Pre‑soaking the corms before planting encourages strong root development and ensures a lush, abundant display.
