Amaryllis 'Belladonna Pink'

Amaryllis

Amaryllis belladonna, commonly known as Belladonna Lily or Naked Lady, reaches two to three feet tall, featuring three- to four-inch trumpet-shaped blooms in soft pastel pink, with occasional deeper pink variations. Blooming in late summer to early fall, its fragrant flowers emerge on tall, leafless stems after the foliage has withered, creating its distinctive "naked" appearance.

Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, it is drought-tolerant, deer-resistant, and attracts pollinators. Native to South Africa, it has naturalized in Mediterranean-type climates worldwide. Ideal for borders, rock gardens, and containers, it pairs beautifully with ornamental grasses and late-season perennials. A superb cut flower, fresh or dried, it is best planted in autumn for a striking seasonal display.
