Hosta 'Halcyon' is a compact, shade-loving perennial with thick, spear-shaped, blue-green leaves that retain their intense color well into late summer. This slow-growing variety forms a dense mound, providing excellent slug resistance and crowding out weeds. In mid to late summer, bell-shaped, pale lilac flowers rise on mauve-gray scapes, attracting pollinators.
