Dahlia 'Bodacious' is a dinnerplate variety with massive 9 to 11 inch blooms in fiery red tipped with golden yellow. The broad, slightly curved petals create a full, rounded form that gives the impression of flames—bold and dramatic in both gardens and floral arrangements. Reaching 36 to 48 inches tall, it has a bushy, upright habit and thrives in full sun with well-drained soil. Blooming from midsummer until frost, it's hardy in USDA zones 8 to 11.
