Amaryllis 'Red Lion' reaches 18 to 24 inches tall, featuring seven- to eight-inch bold red blooms with a velvety texture and a bright green throat. Each jumbo-sized bulb (36/+) produces two to three thick stalks, with four to five flowers per stem, blooming 8 to 12 weeks after planting.

Note: Unlike Southern Hemisphere-grown amaryllis, Dutch bulbs do not bloom in time for Christmas—flowering instead from January through March.

Rotate the pot frequently as amaryllis bulbs will lean towards the light and can topple over
